Dental implantology is now a completely reliable method for tooth replacement. Specialised practices are able to reconstruct your dentition both functionally and aesthetically using quality implant systems, permanently.

What Are Dental Implants

Dental implants are a full-value replacement for lost teeth. They can treat virtually any dental defect. As an artificial root, they form a stable foundation for long-term attachment of a crown, bridge, or removable denture. With implant treatment, there is no need to grind down your own, often intact teeth.

An implant transfers chewing force to the jaw naturally, stimulating its regeneration and preventing bone loss (atrophy) under a removable prosthesis.

Denture Solutions

When the last teeth are lost, the patient is dependent on a conventional denture. The solution is to fix the denture onto at least two dental implants that ensure firm seating. In suitable cases, the entire dentition can be reconstructed with dental implants.

Bone Augmentation

If there is insufficient bone mass for implant placement, it must be supplemented. We use bone substitutes of bovine origin or synthetic replacements. In the posterior sections of the upper jaw, bone can be added to the floor of the maxillary sinus (sinus floor elevation).

Straumann Implants

At our clinic, we work with the Swiss Straumann implant system, one of the highest-quality implant systems in the world. Operations are performed in the operating room, usually under local anaesthesia. If needed, conscious sedation is also available.
